The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway's most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a great part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.
I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday

音乐之声是我十分喜欢的一部反映第二次世界大战的电影。上校家庭对音乐的热爱让我感动。里面美丽动听的歌曲使我了解到音乐是人类共同的语言，它没有国界，不分种族。其中我最喜欢的歌曲是雪绒花。它出现在整个影片的最后，在敌人严密的监视下，剧场里的气氛异常残酷，上尉一家人演唱的这首歌曲就像在污泥中洁净的花朵，让人看到希望和春天。
英文观后感：
Sound of Music is my favorite move, it told a moving story about World War II. Captain’s family loved music with their heart and soul, which moved me deeply. The sweet and wonderful songs in the movie taught me that music is the common language of human beings, and it is borderless and endless. The song I love best is Edelweiss. It was played at the end of the film. Under the strict supervision by Germans, the atmosphere in the threat was stressed out, and the song by Caption’s family is like a pure flower blooming in the dirty mud. It shows hope and spring to everyone.

Jane Eyre — A Beautiful Soul
Jane Eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think:
We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.
We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a companion with the goodness. But still, a virtuous person should promote the goodness on one side and must check the badness on the other side.
We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality.
We also remember her striving for life, her toughness and her confidence…
When we think of this girl, what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply, but a huge charm of her personality.
Actually, she wasn’t pretty, and of course, the ordinary appearance didn’t make others feel good of her, even her own aunt felt disgusted with it. And some others even thought that she was easy to look down on and to tease, so when Miss Ingram met Jane Eyre, she seemed quite contemptuous, for that she was obviously much more prettier than ‘the plain and ugly governess’. But as the little governess had said: ‘Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain, and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong!’ This is the idea of equality in Jane Eyre’s mind. God hadn’t given her beauty and wealth, but instead, God gave her a kind mind and a thinking brain. Her idea of equality and self-respect impress us so much and let us feel the power inside her body.
《水浒传》读后感
《水浒传》一书记述了以宋江为首的一百零八好汉从聚义梁山泊，到受朝廷招安，再到大破辽兵，最后剿灭叛党，却遭奸人谋害的英雄故事。读完全书，印在我脑海里挥之不去的只有两个字：忠，义。
忠，即是对自己的祖国，对自己身边的亲人，朋友尽心竭力。宋江在种种威逼利诱之下，仍然对自己的祖国忠心耿耿，这就是忠；林冲的妻子在林冲被逼上梁山之后，对高俅之子的凌辱，宁死不屈，最终上吊自杀，这也是忠。在当今这个社会中，相信很多人都能做到一个“忠”字，但是，却很少有人能够做到一个“义”字。
一个“义”字，包括了太多的内容。《水浒传》中一百零八好汉为兄弟，为朋友赴汤蹈火，两肋插刀，就只为了一个“义”字；为人民除暴安良，出生入死，也只为一个“义”字。由此可见，一个“义”字虽然只有三笔,有时却要用一个人的生命去写。在现实生活中，给人让座几乎谁都可以做得到，但救人于危难之中却不是谁都可以做到的。因为它需要有相当的勇气，甚至是一命换一命的决心。
义，可以解释为正义。一个具有强烈的正义感的人，就是一个精神高尚的人。古往今来有多少英雄好汉，舍生取义。难道是他们不怕死吗？他们为了正义，为了真理可以奋不顾身，因为强烈的正义感清楚地告诉他们，什么是不该做的，什么是值得用生命去奋斗的。一个没有正义感的人，是不会理解这些的。因为他的正义感已被麻木所吞噬，奋斗的激情已经被冻结，只是他的灵魂被社会中一些丑恶的东西同化了。
我还清楚地记得《水浒传》英雄中有一个黑大汉，他生性鲁莽，性情暴躁，经常为小事与他人发生冲突，甚至搞出人命案。但他却能够路见不平，拔刀相助，令那些丧尽天良的家伙们闻风丧胆。在现实生活中，虽然没有这样惊心动魄的大事发生，但“义”字却渗透着我们的生活。对朋友讲义气，是小义。对素不相识的人或事物也用一种正义的眼光去看待，就是实际意义上的大义。我们中华民族，是一个大义的民族，当日本侵华，多少义气凛然的革命烈士，用他们的满腔热血，誓死不屈，才成就了今日蒸蒸日上的祖国。董存瑞舍身炸暗堡，黄继光用自己的胸膛堵住了敌人的机枪，这些都是炎黄子孙大义的延续，是中国历史上挥之不去的光辉。
一个人，可以不相信神，却不可以不相信“神圣”。当前,我们青少年最主要的任务就是把我们的祖国建设得更加繁荣昌盛。因此，这也是我们民族大义的根本所在。让我们相信这一份“神圣”，用自己的双手去维护这一份“神圣”。
