短篇小说我推荐欧亨利的，像《最后的常春藤》,《麦琪的礼物》，《华而不实》等等， 短而且有深意。马克吐温也有不少好作品比如《百万英镑》，《我如何主编农业报》等。 中长篇我读的不多就不做推荐了。 有关战争的我推荐你读雷马克的《西线无战事》它是我看过的最真实的，把战争的残酷和对人的影响描绘的淋漓尽致。
