We can see college entrance examination being held across the country every year.This kind of exam is also mockingly called once in a lifetime opportunity with all students in high schools doing any way impossible to obtain as high scores as possible for accession to famous university.
Thus there are always the students scoring the highest marks on their papers ,emerging from the intense competition of 'an army of soliders trying to cross the river on a thin log.The final purpose of eduction,however,is not to make students the machine in producing high score.
On the contrary, more emphasis should placed on instructing these prospective talents for our national and social prosperity and individual ability in a proper and reasonable way.Many scientists or academic schorlars are known to us without high marks in examination but what they have in fact done are much to advancing the development of human society and civilization.Are not these good examples to help us realize what sort of eduction we should choose ?
