如果有人问我：天下万物，你最喜欢什么？我会毫不犹豫地告诉你：我喜欢读书。是的，我喜欢读书，因为读书在我的心目中是一种幸福、一种享受。
我喜欢读书。读书足以怡情，足以博采，足以长才，培根如是说。其怡情也，最见于当一个人独处幽居，读名著时为书中精彩的描写拍案叫绝之时。其博采也，最见于与同学争论问题时不时地旁征博引，大有“天文地理，无一不通，三教九流，无所不晓”之势。把同伴说得服服贴贴之时，心中便升起一种幸福感：读书真好。其长才也，最见于处事判事之时。书中学到的公理、定律等知识在这里都大放光彩，两点论、两分法、一分为二等哲理在这里都大显神通。
我喜欢读书。孔子说：“知之者不如好之者，好之者不如乐之知者。”只有感到读书的乐趣，才能乐于勤奋学习。一本好书犹如一位相知的朋友，只要一打开书，我就会完全沉浸在收获的喜悦之中。这时，世界就向我款款走来，我一睹再睹了孔圣人的睿智渊博、诸葛亮的神机妙算，领略了林肯的善良和伟大、莎士比亚的泉涌文思、鲁迅的笔法、毛泽东的豪情壮志……读书使我蹒跚于大师们洋洋洒洒的文字间，好不惬意，好不快活。我漫步于先哲用心血凝成的结晶中，认真思考，认真汲取，真是高兴。
我喜欢读书。书，魅力无穷，它将历史写就，它能揭示未来。读书丰富了我的生活，也开阔了我的视野。我读书倾向于寻求一种心的指引，寻求生活的一面镜子。面对一本好书，我在不断地剖析自我，洞悉灵魂，一种顿悟的惊喜，一种痴迷的恋情，一种未有的体验，一种说不出的好感觉，尽在其中，美不胜收。
