In the past time before the early 20th century, there was a prominent male domination in the country of China. Women were deprived of all rights and were born mainly to serve men, and unfairly, their marriages were arranged. Women were treated as a tool of impregnation, and they also did household chores like washing, cooking and cleaning without any complains.
Nowadays, however, the role of women in China has been changed significantly. Women legislatively have the equal rights as many as men and they are able to have better opportunities to be well educated. They could get better jobs with relatively high salaries competing with many candidates.
