What is Success?
For many people, success means fame, fortune and power. With those things, one may have a lot of friends. And with a lot of friends, all difficulties seem very easy so solve.
However, for me, success is not all about those things stated above. It is more of a mindset than of material satisfaction. For example, if one wants to do something, say draw a picture, and he or she accomplishes it beautifully, that may be called success. Even if the picture is not good enough for others to praise, as long as the maker pleases himself or herself during the process, it is successful.
Fame can make people know you, fortune can make people envy you and power can make people obey you. But none of these can make people truly show their respect to you from the bottom of their hearts. And I don't think that means success. Because inside your heart, you are alone.
Success is that when you want to do something, you will be able to do it without anything in your way and you can accomplish it just the way you want. Success is actually the inner happiness of yours. Whenver you are happy inside your heart, you are successful. It's not about what others think of you, it's about what you think of yourself. So if you want to be successful, be happy first.
